FBDS-IMD project analyzes the sustainability of three business sectors in Brazil

FBDS signed a partnership agreement with the Forum for Corporate  Sustainability Management (CSM/IMD), of the Swiss institute IMD, one of the most reputable business schools in the  world, to undertake a study on The Brazilian Business Case for Corporate Sustainability. The purpose is to analyze the direction toward sustainability taken by the major companies in Brazil in the pulp and paper, food and beverage sectors, and electric power utilities.

FBDS is the Chicago Climate Exchange representative in Brazil

FBDS offers forest companies in Brazil an extraordinary opportunity.

The Foundation is the only institution accredited to present Brazilian projects for funding to the Chicago Climate Exchange (CCX), a self-regulatory exchange based in Chicago, USA.

Since the American government chose not to be party to the Kyoto Protocol, American companies such as Ford Motors, Du Pont and Motorola, for example, decided to create a voluntary greenhouse gas reduction mechanism - the CCX.

Through FBDS, forestry-based companies can attract irredeemable loans from projects already implemented with minimum bureaucracy.
