The world will change.  FBDS foresees alterations.

Our planet is undergoing drastic change that directly affects our way of producing, consuming and interacting with nature and our fellow beings. In the last 150 years, the Earth's temperature has increased 0.75ºC, the ocean has risen 10-20cm and its temperature increased 0.36ºC at a depth of 300m, 40% of the Arctic ice cover has disappeared, and glaciers are continuously shrinking. How do we understand these changes?

Since it began, FBDS has been addressing this theme in its fundamental aspects and  problem solving, and has contributed towards better negotiations at home and abroad in the past 13 years. It brings together multidisciplinary teams to foresee the key questions, principally with regard to Brazilian ecosystems, collected in specialized databases detailing the primary impacts.
